This demo is pulling photos from a Joomla images folder using the Joomla Folder Plus option. Some of the photos have not been given any text data, others just a title and the bottom photo credit tag while some are showing the photo title, description and bottom credit tag. The layout is using the Standard Box option adjusted to show seven (7) photo rows across (monitor display) using custom font sizes & color with a custom background color. The lady hand spinning yarn photo has the 'Rows to Span' set to two (2) with the 'grayscale effect'. GalleryAholic will self adjust the width & height of all photos based on the number of rows across you select.
Was getting ready to scuba dive off the shores of Santa Cruz, Galápagos when this late morning interruption changed everyone's plans.
Located in the Andes mountain range, the trail passes through several types of Andean environments including cloud forest and alpine tundra. Settlements, tunnels, and many Incan ruins are located along the trail before ending the terminus at the Sun Gate on Machu Picchu mountain.
Machu Picchu is situated above a bow of the Urubamba River, which surrounds the site on three sides, with cliffs dropping vertically for 450 metres (1,480 ft) to the river at their base. The area is subject to morning mists rising from the river. The location of the city was a military secret, and its deep precipices and steep mountains provided excellent natural defenses. The Inca Bridge, an Inca rope bridge, across the Urubamba River in the Pongo de Mainique, provided a secret entrance for the Inca army. Another Inca bridge was built to the west of Machu Picchu, the tree-trunk bridge, at a location where a gap occurs in the cliff that measures 6 metres (20 ft). It could be bridged by two tree trunks, but with the trees removed, there was a 570 metres (1,870 ft) fall to the base of the cliffs.
